An easy oatmeal cobbler made with apple juice concentrate and whole wheat flour.
Ingredients
1 cup instant oatmeal
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Golden Delicious apple, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 egg replacer (optional)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cut apple into bite-sized pieces.
3. Mix together oatmeal, flour, apple juice, cinnamon, and optional ingredients.
4. Spread thin layer of mixture on bottom of nonstick or sprayed pan.
5. Arrange apple pieces on top.
6. Spread remaining mixture over apples.
7. Bake 15-25 minutes (less time for firmer apples).
