A creamy protein-rich smoothie that tastes like a strawberry shake! Great over oatmeal.
Ingredients
2 bananas, peeled (frozen or fresh)
1 box Mori-Nu lite tofu
Cranberry juice
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Instructions
1. Break bananas into 3-inch pieces and put in blender.
2. Add tofu, broken up a bit.
3. Pour cranberry juice in to almost cover.
4. Blend, adding more juice if mixture seems too thick.
5. Add maple syrup while blending.
6. Vary texture to your preference - yogurt consistency is good.
7. Pour over cooked oatmeal and swirl in, or drink as-is.
Note: Makes a full blender, enough for 4-6 bowls of oatmeal. Stores well in refrigerator.
