Homemade fruit leather from fresh berries. Perfect healthy snack for kids!
Ingredients
1 quart fresh boysenberries or blackberries
1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
1. Puree berries in blender.
2. Add sugar and blend.
3. Heat gently on stovetop just until warm.
4. Strain through cheesecloth to remove seeds.
5. Pour onto parchment-lined dehydrator trays or baking sheets.
6. Spread thinly and evenly.
7. Dehydrate at 140°F (or lowest oven setting) for 6-8 hours.
8. Leather is done when pliable but not sticky.
9. Remove while warm and roll up.
10. Store in airtight container.
