Classic Apple Crisp

Simple baked apples topped with fat-free granola. Comfort food at its best!

Ingredients

5 apples (McIntosh preferred) 1/4 cup raisins 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Pinch of ground cloves Fat-free granola for topping Soy milk or custard for serving

Instructions

1. Pour boiling water over raisins and let sit 5 minutes. Drain. 2. Preheat oven to 350°F. 3. Core and cut apples into thick slices. 4. Place in casserole dish with raisins. 5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and cloves. 6. Cover and bake 30-40 minutes until apples are tender but not mushy. 7. Add enough granola to cover apples. 8. Return uncovered to oven for 15 minutes until granola is browned. 9. Serve warm with soy milk or cold with warm custard.
