A loaded granola with multiple cereals, dried fruits, and warm spices.
Ingredients
5 cups old-fashioned oats
2 cups Grape-Nuts cereal
1 1/2 cups crisped rice cereal
1 cup raisins
1 cup cut up dried apples
1/2 cup dried dates
8 oz apricot preserves
2 oz orange marmalade
1/3 cup brown rice syrup, warmed
1/2 cup apple juice concentrate
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cardamom
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl.
3. Stir together preserves, marmalade, syrup, juice, and spices.
4. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix thoroughly.
5. Spread on two cookie sheets lightly sprayed with cooking spray.
6. Bake 35 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes and switching racks.
7. Let cool completely before storing.
