Concentrated vegetable stock cubes that can be frozen and used for oil-free stir-frying. Just throw a frozen cube into the skillet!
Ingredients
2 cups homemade vegetable stock
1/2 cup dry white wine, vermouth, or sherry
1 bay leaf
2 shallots, chopped
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Simmer until reduced to 1 cup.
3. Remove bay leaf and shallots.
4. Pour liquid into ice cube trays and freeze.
5. After frozen, transfer to zip-lock bags and store in freezer.
6. To use: throw a frozen cube into skillet, let melt, then add vegetables.
