A flavorful, low-fat sauce recipe.
Ingredients
Pete's Vinasoy
Makes roughly 10 ounces
1/4 cup soy sauce. Kikkoman works, but Tamari soy may be better
1 tsp liquid smoke [optional]
8 ounces cider. I've been using cider vinegar, but the next batch
will be the Tamari soy and some inexpensive balsamic vinegar.

Instructions
Put soy, [liquid smoke] and the vinegar into a measuring cup. Transfer to
a 10 ounce bottle. (Mine says HCl from a long-ago chemistry laboratory. :-)
I've not bothered to dose the stuff with additional spices, but you could
do so. Contains roughly 200mg sodium/tablespoon.
