A super-fast chili using canned beans and TVP. Quick enough for busy weeknights and carnivore-approved!
Ingredients
1 can Trader Joe's black bean chili
1 can Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
1 teaspoon cumin
2 tablespoons dried minced onions
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP)
Tabasco sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a pot.
2. Heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
3. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes to allow TVP to absorb liquid.
4. Serve over brown rice with cornbread on the side.
5. Add Tabasco sauce if you like it spicy.
