Quick Microwave Bean Burgers

The quickest bean burgers - ready in minutes using the microwave!

Ingredients

1 can (400g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed 1 onion, chopped finely 1 beef tomato, peeled and chopped Mixed herbs to taste Chutney to taste Whole wheat flour for binding

Instructions

1. Place drained beans in microwave-safe dish with onion, tomato, herbs, and chutney. 2. Microwave on 100% power for 2-3 minutes until beans are soft. 3. Mash beans. 4. Add enough flour to make a stiff mixture. 5. Divide into 4 patties. 6. Dry fry in nonstick pan, grill, or broil until browned. 7. Serve with salad and oven-baked chips.
