Sweet and Savory Polenta Duo

Two polentas from one batch - sweet dessert version with fruit, and savory with cheese!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups polenta 4 1/2 cups water Dash of salt Sweet Half: Honey or sweetener Dried fruit Savory Half: Nutritional yeast Onion powder Sliced tomato Fat-free cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook polenta in salted water until thick. 2. Divide into 2 portions. Sweet Version: 3. Add honey/sweetener and dried fruit to one portion. 4. Serve warm as dessert. Savory Version: 5. Stir nutritional yeast and onion powder into other portion. 6. Spread in square pan and chill until firm. 7. When ready to serve, top with sliced tomato and cheese if desired. 8. Grill or bake until hot.
