Arame with Vegetables

A simple and healthy sea vegetable dish with onions, carrots, and ginger. Macrobiotic-friendly!

Ingredients

1/4 cup dried arame seaweed 1 medium onion, finely sliced 1 carrot, finely sliced 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced Water or water/wine combo for sautéing Soy sauce, tamari, or vinegar to taste Brown rice for serving

Instructions

1. Sauté finely sliced onions, carrots, and ginger in water or water/wine combo until almost done. 2. Place arame on top and let it steam until soft. 3. Mix together and add soy sauce, tamari, or vinegar to taste. 4. Serve with brown rice or tofu. 5. Alternative: After cooling, chop and add soy mayo with lemon juice. Serve as a dip with rice crackers.
