Quick stir-fry with TVP beef strips and broccoli. Ready in 25 minutes!
Ingredients
1 cup Beef-Not strips
2 1/2 cups vegetable broth, divided
1 lb broccoli florets
1 medium onion, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4-5 chopped scallions (white part too)
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
Fresh ground pepper
Instructions
1. Mix Beef-Not strips with 1 1/4 cups broth in microwavable bowl. Heat 12 minutes. Set aside.
2. Mix cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, and soy sauce into 1 cup broth. Set aside.
3. Heat 1/4 cup broth in wok or large skillet.
4. Stir-fry Beef-Not 5 minutes.
5. Add broccoli and onions, stir-fry 1 minute.
6. Add broth mixture, cook and stir 2-3 minutes.
7. Add scallions, pepper, and ginger. Cook 1 minute more.
8. Serve hot over rice.
