Spicy buffalo-style tofu perfect for game day or when you're craving something with a kick.
Ingredients
1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu, pressed
1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup cornstarch
Celery sticks and vegan ranch for serving
Instructions
1. Press tofu at least 1 hour. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
2. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
3. Toss tofu in cornstarch until coated.
4. Arrange on baking sheet in single layer.
5. Bake 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
6. Mix hot sauce, maple syrup, vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
7. Toss baked tofu in buffalo sauce.
8. Return to oven for 5 minutes to set sauce.
9. Serve with celery and vegan ranch.
