Smoky, sweet, and tangy baked beans made easy in the slow cooker.
Ingredients
1 package northern white beans
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup molasses
1/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3-4 tablespoons maple syrup
1-2 tablespoons dry mustard
1/4 cup vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
Instructions
1. Soak beans overnight. Drain.
2. Combine all ingredients in crockpot.
3. Add water to cover beans.
4. Cook on low 8-10 hours until beans are tender.
5. Check occasionally and add water if needed.
6. Adjust seasonings to taste before serving.
